I'm hopeing someone can help me figure this out. A few weeks back I started having a problem when I try to go from first gear down into neutral. I have to really somp on the lever to get it to go into N. I thought I might try messing around with the clutch adjuster bolt to see if it fixed anything, but it does not seem like its helping. Anyone else have any problems like this or know what It might be?? Thanks!

 

did you do a propper clutch adjustment? that can help a shifting issue alot

 

If the clutch is adjusted properly then the clutch cover may have to come off to check the gearshift assy ..

Thanks for some of your suggestions. In the manual it just said it turn the clutch adjuster counter clockwise and then 1/4 turn clockwise. I'll try the full turn clock wise first and then take it from there to see if it has any other effect.

If that does not do anything, is there something else it could possibly be? Thanks again guys.

 

might be shifter fork wear??? hondamech would have a better idea on that than me
