Default spillway

I was thinking of going when it drys up. How bad is it out there what I mean by is that do people steal ur stuff when ur out rideing. My plann is that when I go to the spillway my dad will drop my off with the trailer and the atv. On the trailer will be a gas container, tool kit just in case, cloths, cooler, and straps. U think anybody would steal my stuff. I have a padlock on the trailer where u pull the latch up tp put it on the ball but somebody could cut it off though. I was thinking of buying a little storage box and putting it on the trailer and put all my stuff in there and put a padlock on it so nobody could get in and chain the gas container to the trailer. What u think is a good idea?

I'd at least get a good tongue lock for the trailer (one that looks like a hitch ball and blocks it off, and a wheel lock or chain so at least one of the wheels wouldnt turn. A good lockable storage box would be a must. This is all granted you live in a good area since I have no idea where you are.

I live in Laplace, Louisiana. The spillway is like 10 minutes away from where I live.

I have a padlock on the latch where u pull up on to put the tongue or watever on the ball u think thats good enough or I was also thinking of put a chain on the tire and run the chain to the other tire and put a padlock on it.
