I have a 2000 Honda 450S 4x4. And it has just recently started making an internal popping sound when I'm driving and turning to the right. It does not make any popping sounds when driving straight or turning to the left.

Does anyone have any ideas???

Could be a bad CV axle in the front. Check for damaged, or torn boots which would let water into the joint wearing it out quickly. If its loose it will have to be replaced.

I have checked both CV Boots and they appear to be in good Condition.
I checked the rearend Lube and it had some water in it. So I drained it and then flushed it a couple of times with fresh gear lube then filled back to the proper level.

It still continues to make a popping sound. I'm not quite sure that it is coming from the front. It sort of sounds like it could be coming from somewhere else.

Any thoughts or ideas??
