My 2000 450ES did like about 45- 47 mph. I would stay with 25 but you can get aggressive 6 plys tire which in a major improvement from stock.

I got my foreman up to 48mph with the 25s I have on there now. I am looking at the 27" Mud Bugs myself.
The Foremans are work horses, I don't think you'll here much disagreement on that. They are geared pretty low, and the top speed won't be too high when they are all time 4x4.

Foremans are geared low, but its great when you really need them to work.

I've been running 27's on my 1998 since 2000 and I'll never go smaller. On GPS you pick up some speed because of a taller final drive ratio, the difference in weight is hardly noticeable. 27's dont rub on stock suspension with stock wheels (at least they dont on mine).

I've seen 52 Mph on my guage in ideal conditions, but running hard isnt the easiest on the motor. Most of my riding is in areas where speed is not a factor.

I put a WARN 424 on my Foreman, cant say it made a HUGE difference in top speed, but it makes it alot more fun and steering effort is greatly reduced meaing increased comfort.

The 26's will fit with no trouble and that will give you an extra 1/2" ground clearance.

i have a bne-stock foreman 450ES thats geard very slow.

1st gear gets to 3 mph
2nd gear get to 6mph
5th gear, wide open, on blacktop pavement, gets about 46mph with the speedometer or my handheld gps

this thing will climb a wall, clear a ditch, and haul a 200lb deer back to camp, and I have no complaints whatsoever.

And just how will agressive 6 plys make it go any faster, since that was what he was asking about?
