My wife has an 05 recon es and the seat is kinda hard so we have been looking for something softer. My question is if anybody knows of any aftermarket seats or if a 250ex seat will fit since we have found a few that she likes for that. Any info appreciated, thanks

 

you could always just feed her a bunch of ho-ho's and twinkies and let her make her own natural padding instead of a buying a new seat. LOL

i would find a local shop and have the foam replaced

 

Remove the cover, carve out some of the foam, an install some gel pads like we do on our motorcycles

how does the cover come off the seat? mine looks like heavy duty staples.

 

thats so weird, my recon has one of the softest, comfiest seats on a bike/atv.... are you sure the foams not hard from mold or mud???

 

Thanks for all the ideas. Its been hard since she bought it new, we just thought it would soften up over time from riding.
