Default 300ex *** end question

Hey, i have a '99 300ex and just put a new front and rear sprocket on it as well as a new oring chain. I also installed new brake pads and bled the brake system. It is up on a stand right now and when i put it in neutral and spin the rear axle, it seems like there is alot of resistance. It seems to me it should spin alot more freely. it only goes about one or two full rotations. It was way more before. I am thinking its a combo of the new brake pads and a new chain that came pretty heavily lubed from the factory. Just wondering if i should be concerned or maybe install new rear bearings. Anyone ????

You may want to check your parking brake. And adjust as necessary.

the parking brake isnt hooked up at the moment and tried prying the pad apart a little bit , not too much, didnt want to score anything, and it didnt help either. I think i might just tear out the axle and install new bearings.

If you just replaced the brakes, there will be more drag than normal, the brakes just need to be broken in. Ride the quad, use the brakes as needed. Unless there is "play" in your axle, your bearings are fine.
