OK; In the april '01 DirtWheels in the frame article it says "you can still buy a 250R bottom end from Honda and there are several aftermarket top-ends available"
I go to my local Honda dealer to inquire... The guys that work there are the most arrogant SOB's you have ever seen. I get this one smart-a and he kinda laughs at me, but just to "entertain" me he calls a Honda rep. First thing he says to her (while I am sitting there) is "I have a really SILLY question for you". Well lo and behold, she tells him that it may be available and he needs to call a different Honda guy about it. So, he does and the guy is "out of the office". Jake (the jerk that I am talking to) says "I will call you next week" and walks away! Didn't take my phone number or anything, plus left the number he was supposed to call laying on the desk. What is going on? Is it possible to get this "bottom end"? Please, if anybody has done this please help me!! If it is a secret and you don't want to publicize it, please email me. I have 2 250R's now and I just want a BRAND NEW MOTOR. I don't want to try and build a motor using the parts I have.
