Default Honda rancher 350 rollover question

so is it actualy the frame that gets bent? just wondering the specifics of this problem.

its unlikely the frame is bent, although it is possible. normally only the front rack/bumper assembly take the damage.

a similar thing happened to my friends rancher except it wasnt off cockeyed it turned the opposite way i think this is just a defect in the 03's a crappy gas guage

hondatech... i guess i apologize as im still confused. if the front bumper rack takes the damage how does it effect the fuel tank mount. Thanks alot for all your help

Theres nothing wrong with your fuel tank mount, its the plastic that has moved.
the fenders are connected to the front rack, the front rack is connected to the bumper, if either the bumper OR the rack gets bent, it moves the plastic, then it doesnt line up with the fuel guage anymore. You may not be able to see the damage to the rack or bumper, but if your fuel guage doesnt line up, one of them are bent.
