Default 1982 Honda ATC Carb question

Hello all,
I have a 1982 Honda ATC that has not run in 7 years. The carb was frozen shut so I looked on eBay. The seller of one for a 200x said his would work fine. After I won it I received a reply from another seller who said the 200x carb will only work if the jets are changed, but the 200s he had would work. I have $60 into the 200x carb and need to know if it will work or not.

Thanks!

find a manual, should be able to tell you what size jets you should have and which settings to use. If the carb is the same model, it should work fine. If the carb is different, you might have to do some jetting work to get it right, but being a 4-stroke it's not quite as touchy as doing a 2-stroke. I had to re-jet my YT175 yamaha 3 wheeler for a bigger carb...wow, what a nightmare...
