i raced my friend on his old foreman450 and i waz on a rancher350 i waz ahead of him by 6 feet we stayed like this till we ran out of road my friend said he top out at 45mph so that means that a 350rancher go around 45-50mph is this true

 

I don't know for sure but, I rode beside a foreman 500 03' 4*4 with a speed odometer and he was running 45 and I run off a good distance ahead of him. I would say its because his stays in 4 wheel drive though..........so i would say thats probably true.

i had a cop clock me at 40mph i had 2 people on the atv and i waz pulling a 600 pound trailer so its should be true

 

I clocked my 05 TRX350FM at approx 47 mph with a GPS unit on a flat stretch of road last year.
So a top speed of 45 to 50 is possible.

i guess i'll ask my first how fast question... how fast is the 420 rancher? someone said it will do 65 but i doubt that. i saw some on you tube jumping very controllably and moving pretty good and also going through some mud that people say it cant go through. just wondering b/c its the best priced atv for the features and i was going to get a 4x4 this year and keep i coming back to the 420 as maybe the best choice for me and what i want to spend... just not happy about the weight of it.

420 goes around 60mph stock
