Default TRX200 valve adjustment

My friend has a 1984 TRX 200 with a fresh rebuilt motor with less than .5 hours of use.
I did not rebuild the motor but a friend of his did.
The motor starts easy, always the first time no matter how long it sits.
The exhaust valve adjustment is slightly loose, with a tapping noise.
I have a shop manual for the 1986 and up but they have a different head configuration.

Does anybody know the valve clearences on intake and exhaust for the 1984 motor?
The rocker configuration is similar to my sons Honda 81 Z-50 which is .002"
I thought of slowly increasing the adjustment when cold until the noise quits but I would rather know the clearances and set it right the first time.

Thanks for any information guys, my friend is a disabled vietnam veteran and the reason the bike sets so much he got sick and had to have a pace-maker installed and the gentleman that rebuilt the motor I have no contact information on him.
I am just tring to get his bike ready for him so he can ride with my family this spring.

Thanks Shawn
