any tips for changing front bearings?

Default any tips for changing front bearings?

anyone have any suggestions or tips on changing front wheel bearings?

I'm not too sure what kind of advice you are looking for? I just changed the both outter bearings on the front of my '99 300 4x4. It wasn't hard at all.

One good tip is if you're going to change the bearings then change out the inner and outer.

Unless you ran them dry, wet, etc, all they really need is a cleaning and repacking. You can buy a tapered bearing greaser at the auto supply stores. Clamp the bearing in this plastic cone thing and pump in the grease using a greese gun, forces grease into the rollers to ensure coverage.

Also always replace the seals(correctly). Probably #1 cause of bearing failure.
