i had a trx250x that had 16...........i dont know if that helps but they are only like 30 cc's in difference i think and i could hang right beside my friend tommy on his 300ex. both had the same dg pipes
ok thanks everyone now how much do yall think it will have if u put a white bros. e series slip on on it? and how much would it have if i put a big gun full system on it? thanks

In general pipes are pipes. Some are tuned to different RPM's, but they all give you about the same results.
If you were to put on a pro-flow or K&N filter, with a full exhaust, and jet the carb properly, I think regardless of which exhast you use, you can expect at least 5% gain, up to about 10% gain. Since you are starting with 18 hp, that only gives you about 1.5 hp... Now if you were to do all of the above, *and* put in a different cam, to take advantage of the better breathing system, you might see 20%, which would put you in the mid 20's.
I had been informed in another post a while back that the 250X actually had more HP than the 300EX ?? The Warrior is supposedly 18hp stock, and has more power than the 300EX.
