Mud gets into everything seals or not...seals are much softer than the grit in the mud, once the seals are compromised the bearings are next. This is why I do not mud bog my quads.

I did some more research on the Thundercats
They seem to be OK in the reliability departmentment
So I went on the hunt
Found a leftover 09
$10,250 Canadian Dollars Plus Taxes (not including my trade)
They are throwing in a 3,000lb winch, and front and rear heavy duty bumpers
I am making up my mind over the weekend
They are holding it till Tuseday

I am waiting to hear back from 2 other CAN AM dealers and 2 other Yamaha dealers

But if I can get a 2010 Outty for the same price as a Grizz, I think I may go with the CAN AM???

And doesnt the CAN AM have 3 year warranty???

Just because I am getting more for the same price (ie more power, 3000lbs winch etc)

Keep those comments coming!!!

Thanks to everyone who responded
Don't know if your Yamaha dealer is on crack or your Can AM dealer is generous. A outlander 800 twin always retails higher then the 700 single.
2010 Can-Am Outlander™ 800R EFI ATVs

I live in Ont Canada and a 700 Grizzly plain jane is $10500.

I think I would also take the Grizzly. I like Yamaha's diff lock over Can AMs more complicated lock by itself front end.

Where I live the Suzuki KQ 750 is the bang for your buck camp in Big bores and it has ever option the other ATV have. It would be the ATV I would look at right now.

go with the can-am great machines and the rotax motor is top notch. I have had my eye on the renegade sitting at our local dealer. the grizz is no slouch and is a long proven machine. I say go ride them both first as your comfort is important as well. Our dealer built a track behind the store to test on see if theres anywhere to do this, or check some rental companies for these machines.

Can Am-Hands down, way more power than the Griz, way lighter than the POPO,The ride is awsome and a 3 year warranty. Not that a Griz is a bad machine by any means i just feel the Can AM is a step above the rest.
