Back in June, a member named Itch, or real name Rich Roethler, had a Ohlins shock for sale. We made a deal and I sent him a Money order to him which he got and cashed. I have proof of the money order being cashed from the postal service. He has since disapered form the forums and will not answer my calls or return my calls. kinda frustrated and mad that this has happend. This is the only time ever that i have had this happen to me. I mostly only use ebay and pay pal, took a chance and lost!! If you see an ad from this guy, DO NOT BUY FROM HIM!!! He is a thief in my opinion. I would think if something happend to him or got some issues to deal with he would have at least let me know. The police have been notified in his town but can't do anything, civil issue. I'm talking to a lawyer now about it. I posted on his list for parts for sale for people to not buy or contact him. Buy your used parts from someone legit.

Post his location...maybe someone on here lives in his area and would be willing to knock on his front door for you. Or call his local PD and tell them what happened.
This is the info on the fourms. Tried the local P.D. thing, no intrest in it, said it was a civil issue, not worth there time. I'm glad our taxes pay there paychecks though! I figured they would would at least send a crusier over there and talk to him.

Doesn't this count as mail fraud? How is there nothing they can do?
EDIT: I don't know if you are a member on www.gen3usa.com or not but I just noticed that he is on that site under a different username. That is unless he stole the pictures in his profile on here from the member on Gen3. The same pictures in itch's profile on here were posted by a user "TREYJUSTICE" on gen3. He is still actively posting on that board. If they are the same people, he has Cedar Rapids Iowa listed as his location on hisGen3 profile.
