yea, i didn't want to say anything, but as stated before, the raptor is a newer design of the warrior. the warrior topped out around 55mph,60 on a good day. the weight of the two is only about a 25lb. difference as the raptor weighs around 375lbs(2005 model) ,and the warrior weighs 397lbs(2004 model). the warrior came with 22" rear tires and the raptor comes with 20". which means if all else is the same on the motor, then the raptor would take off faster but the warrior would possibly pass it in a long run with the larger rear tires. Or they would just be about even at 55mph.

O ya I forgot to mention the Raptor does have a Jetkit...

Im not quite sure if that makes any difference, but...

If your Raptor only goes 55MPH then theyre is a problem. My 1997

Yamaha Wolverine 350 goes 58MPH

Theyre Grizz 660 went 69MPH

Theyre Polaris Ranger goes 50MPH

The Raptor goes 70MPH

Do these numbers sound off??? They are all true I promise...

If the numbers do sound funny I think is simply because of altitude and

elevation and having to do with where I live....

Pacing a quad with a car is about the most inaccurate way to measure speed. The Outlaw will not hit 90 and the Raptor 350 IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE 450's. I have hit 75 on my TRX450 that is piped jetted and a filter kit, you're telling me that your Raptor 350 only goes 5 mph slower than my R? Not a chance. I want to see video of you hitting 70mph on a 350. I want to see the radar and the GPS on it. IT WON'T HAPPEN STOCK. (jetting is not a mod, it's a requirement to make your machine run correctly)

Yeah I dunno what freak of nature these people are riding, but there is no way our Raptor 350 will hit 70mph..... Next time my buddy comes over with his GPS I'm putting on my Wife's Raptor and taking it for a lap.....

My old Warrior was fast, it had cams, jet kit, full FMF Exhaust, a 15-t front sprocket and 22" rear tires..... Wide open in 6th gear, on flat smooth ground, it would not do 70......

I can see that warrior hitting 70. I know that when I play on my Brother in law's Warrior (stock) I have a lot of fun. They are so easy to control through slides and everything else. But even in 6th gear, I'm wanting MUCH more.

well ,ive searched youtube for top speed and the best i could see a 350 go was 65 and you could see him coming down a hill in a distance with an "older 550 grizzly" behind him(the 550 just came out,how can it be older?) Other clips show them running, but no speed. Then i found one running a new exhaust and the fastest he ran was right at 95km/h, which is 59mph. If you have a 350 running 70, id keep it b/c know one else can seem to get theirs there.

Its quite funny how some people are in total agreement with the raptor

hitting 70 and others just think that there is no way possibly...

However I am one that knows for a fact and I will never change my mind

that the Raptor 350 CAN INDEED hit 70MPH... I have seen it several different

occasions......... So I dont want hear anymore crap about the raptor not

being able to hit 70...

And some of you even say that it cant even hit 60!!!! WHAT!!! yall are

CRAZY!!!

not doubting it,just hard to believe thats all. If you seen it hit 70mph then thats all that counts. Well, maybe a 525 can and will do 90mph...i dont have room to talk,I dont own either one nor does anyone i know so i cant check for myself. like i said,id keep that bike if i were you ,maybe place a couple bets and take some money from people who think they can beat you.
