I had one of my stolen ATVs recovered on the other side of town 1/2 hour after I reported it, and all the rest were either totalled out or never recovered. In all honesty I think that if they've been gone 24 hours there's not much chance of ever getting them back, totalled or not. They could be anywhere by now. I wish you the best of luck and hope the b*stards that stole them die a slow painful death.

Hopefully these bastards get what's coming. My quad is street legal and I ride everywhere. I'm always nervous about where to leave it...It's not like they have to register them in their name and if they rig up a push button start that's all that's needed. No good man sorry to hear it. I'll keep an eye out here in AZ!

My friend had his 2004 sportsman 700efi stolen from his driveway which a far distance from the street they live in the country. Well when he went back outside someone had stolen the quad. He got a phone call about 2-3 years later that they recovered the machine in excellent condition whoever took it never licesed it but then later sold it and when the person tried to license it, it came back stolen and my friend got it back. So theres always hope and not all get chopped up Good luck and best wishes.!!

My friend had his 2007 honda 450r stolen right out of his garage and the funny thing is that they had a choice of a harley or a brand new chevy pickup and they picked a 4 wheeler out of all three but i will keep an eye out here in PA

Is there a database to check VIN before you buy?

Did you get your stuff recovered? Sucks to see that it ruined your vacation. Keep an eye out on ebay and craigslist. I'm not sure about other people but I think it sounds a little fishy buying an ATV or trailer that is a 2008 without a title. No dealerships would take them in on trade without a title. I have seen stolen bikes and ATV's for sale at an equipment auction in eastern ohio, one guy was selling a 1 year old KTM 250SX that was like brand new for $1,500 with no title.
