All of you arctic cat owners do you like them? I have a 07 arctic cat 700 efi and its is the biggest peice of shit i have ever owned. At like 300 miles it all started.I have probably like $1500 into it just in parts. I dont butcher it either. Im pretty easy on it. Also arctic cats customer service SUCKS. I called them cause the main wire harness under the seat rubbed on the piece of weld not ground off and caught on fire. Called arctic cat and they basicly said "its not under warranty and we dont care" thats a long story short. So im not saying all arctic cats are junk but i know i will nwver buy one again. So please tell me if its a lemon or just bad luck, Thanks, Polaris man with issues

Well, I got this beast with 2700 miles on it to see if if ATVing is for me before going nuts on a newer unit.

The trans feels like it slips somewhat at low RPM, when starting out, but once I have it rolling and stand on it, it does not slip. Is this the nature of the beast? I'm 350 pounds, so I belive I'm on the edge of what this machine wants to handle.

ANd what can I do to stiffen up the springs in it? I feel like I'm going to either dump it or go over backwards half the time!

Otherwise, I love my old cat, very simple machine to work on,.

So i feel ive done everything possible to get this thing back in running shape, it hasn't been run for over a year now, and just the other day i got it to start again. The only thing is that when i go to take the choke off or give it gas it dies. I think it has to do with the carb. How do i adjust it the right way? Please help me get this going anyone thanks.

Hi!

I'm looking at a dvx400, PEP +2" A-arms, nerf bars, HMF pipe and few other bits for around $2k. Still on original tires that look good. Poor sod is getting married and soon-to-be wife set ultimatum as "her" or "bike". She won.

He's throwing in a full kit worth $1k.

Any issues I should know of before I lump cash at the Black Hole of Calcutta?

Here's a pic of the scoot & gear.

Cheers!

I have an 09 Arctic cat 400 H1 TRV. Ever since i got the atv (brand new) I've notices a clicking sound, but only at low speeds (seemed to dissapear after i got a little speed up). When the atv had about 500 km's on it i finally decided to bring it back to the dealer to see if this was normal. I may have waited too long but i wasn't sure if it was normal or not being a first time atv owner. I suggested to the dealer it might be a CV joint that i thought might cause the sound. The dealer gave it a good going over in the shop and said there was an array of problems with the atv and said he have to replace a shaft, belt, various clips. etc. When i got it back it was fine for a while but while riding one day the atv started to die out, the rear wheeles locked up and i skidded to a stop. i restarted the atv and tried her again to see if there was any major damage. it happened again while i was going about 15 km/h. I tried it once more and it happened again while i was just crawling along. i finally had to phone my father to pick it up in his truck. When i brought it back this time they said this had happened because of the new belt, something about it sticking or something. i have my atv back now and the clicking noise still persists. Is this dangerous. What should i do? Wearable parts warranty just ran out. Motor/Powertrain Warranty is good for 2 years. Cannot get any trade in value or money back for the atv.
