Talking I know, i know...... But i like it.

I know that not everyone likes these big ol quads, but I love it so I dropped a little green into it. It's a kick to ride and never ceases to amaze me or anyone else that rides it or sees what it can do. It will do just about anything I ask it too.

It's a 2004 KFX700. It has a Fundy 730 with porting and 1mm larger valves, trail cams, hi comp pistons, 36mm honda CBR carbs, Muzzy Pro exhaust, FST CDI, custom JH Machine roller clutch, Elka shocks, Precission steering stab., 5 inch extended swingarm, Trail Tech Vapor, custom seat, race cut Maier Plastic with automotive paint, custom tail lights, powdercoated everything and a bunch more odds and ends.

I like the shaft drive, I have towed to many ATVs that had chain troubles home for my liking.

Thanks.

It runs real strong. There are much faster V's out there and I could have gone more that route, but I went more for a purpose built quad. I ride the Oregon Coast and one of my favorite things to do it run the tree shots and idiot holes. The clutch I had built is not as strong on the top end as the race clutch I used to run but it is so responsive on the bottom and responds instantly to any throttle input. I went with a 5 inch extended swingarm instead of a 6+ because of the tight terrain I ride in. It cost me a Custom one off Elka rear shock because of the shock mount location (Shock had to be 1 1/2 inches shorter), but I was going for a quad that worked for my riding style and needs.

It is just amazing how well this quad does. I ride some nasty stuff and it never lets me down. It doesn't get stuck where others do and it is so much fun watching the reaction on peoples faces when it comes up out of a Nasty hole with little or no effort.

Most people don't know what it is. Then after I tell them, they say aren't those things like 550lbs? I just smile and say Yep.

TLC, I'll go you one better. I towed a Sand Rail with 2 people in it, over a mile up and over some dunes back to camp. The funniest part was seeing the look on peoples faces when we pulled into camp. They first tried to tow it with a Z400 and a Warrior together. I felt bad watching them go 3 ft at a time. They couldn't believe how easy I towed it. True story.
