That is a pretty accurate quote but probably on the conservative side I have probably 16K in mine plus running around town and the hours invested in the build and I want to do allot more to it. But it is worth it when you are done.

thats funny right there. even with the r1 there will be alot of 700 that will get it up the hill. exp the shorter hills.

Just so you guy's know after you ride one of these conversion's when you get on a bike like a 700 they are pretty boring and feel slow. Not trying to knock them because I have a pumped up raptor but after riding my Busa that will do 70 in second gear and it has six you go get on another bike and you are waiting for the power to kick in and it never does in comparison to a conversion.

Without even trying to push an r1 done well I wouldn't go back. 700 great woods bike with a little swing arm work its fun in the sand you'll sure have too throw a lot at a 700 to have as much bike with little dependability after all its still a big single! 110 hp! just starting for the r1 power

i bet a 90hp raptor with a real 700 motor will beat a r1 raptor with 130+hp up most hills. and 90 is not very hard to get anymore. soon the stockbores will be there
