Default K&N air filter

I don't understand why there are so many people wasting their time and money on a K&N air filter?

k&n filter much better in the sand than a uni and also increase air flow useally make more power. thats why people run them.

not to mention easier to clean, less cleaning and when oiled properly filter better than a foam filter. plus it is buy one and buy another one when you sell and get a new machine.

How is it a waste of time and money? I want to hear your input. Are you from Orem? I'm down in Payson.

Amen!!!

Best to leave the K&N's for the street. I have one on my truck, but I run a K&N Air force wrap on it as well!

I ran K&N on everything for a while, and every time I would change them I would wipe the intake boot out with a clean white cloth. Believe me...they do pass fine dirt!

That may be an acceptable trade-off for a racer who is going to do rebuilds frequently anyway, but for the recreational rider (99% of us) it isn't worth the risk involved!
