Default Good Snow Tires ?

I need to buy some new tires, the stock dunlops arent cutting it. We get lots of snow here and ice. I will be using my kingquad for plowing in the winter, trails in the summer, i have a 60 inch cycle country plow.

What tire do you guys suggest for winter plowing traction?

ITP Holeshot ATR's! They float me right along on top of yard deep snow. I also have a very slick Mayer plastic skid plate that acts like a huge ski, and prevents the front end from getting high centered. I go absolutely anywhere my buddies do on their $10,000 top of the line IRS big bores with lockers!

A 500 KQ with a plow is not going to float on top of snow no matter what tires you buy. The other option is traction,I fine the good mud tires make good snow tires. Get agressive lugs with a good self cleaning pattern. I like Mud lites XLs myself.

Well....we scream around on partially-plowed roads as well, and the ATR's fronts have particularly excellent traction. Rears aren't quite as good as fronts.

Look on ITP's web site. They make a studded tire for snow and ice. Also look into Maxxis Bighorns, I have heard they do good in the snow.

I had a set of 25" mudlites and they didn't do that great in the snow. I think my stock tires did better.
