Hi all, I just wanted to post up on my Zilla's. First off, don't confuse them with the Mudzillas. These are much lighter and more trail oriented. I put them on my '07 Wolverine 350 2wd. I bought 25-8-12 for the front and 25-10-12 for the rear. They replaced the stock 23" tires which had a hard time with the slick mud I go through. First the facts. The fronts weighed in at 14 lbs and rear are 17 lbs. A bit heavier than my stock tires, but one of the lighter 6 ply mud/trail tires. At 4 psi, the fronts measure 24" tall and rear measure 23.5" - mounted on the quad. I was a bit surprised by the size, but my stock tires also measured less than the 23" written on the sidewall. Now for the performance. I noticed the added weight and diameter, but since I mostly trail ride that was fine. The traction is so much better than stock! The ground here is frozen underneath, but we have about a 2" layer of very slick mud on top of that. With the stock tires, I needed to rely on momentum to get me through, but with the Zilla's I can come to a dead stop in the middle of the mud and start moving again with no problem. The tread cleans very well and I am very happy with them. If we ever get snow, I'll let you know how they do in that too.

I looked at the Zilla, Bearclaw, and MudLite. I ride in some soupy mud in southern NJ and trails in WV. Weight was also a major factor for me being that I have a 2wd 350cc Wolvy. So far the Zilla's are working out great for me.

I'm digging up my old thread just to give an 8 month report. I know I appreciate hearing how well things (like tires) are holding up. I'm pleased to say that I'm 100% happy with my Zilla's. The summer here has been very wet and the trails that are normally dry were quite slick, but the Zilla's performed great. The tires show very little wear and should last me years. I ride swampy conditions in NJ, but rocky and hard packed trails in WV. No cuts or flats to report. If you ride trails with a bit of mud, I recommend giving the Zillas a look.

I have 28" zilla's and they are great. I only got stuck once with these tire. I was high centered a few times, but you really can't blame that on the tires lol!! They ride smooth, handle trails great, and are amazing in the mud. If you are looking for a good all around tire. I would look into zilla's!

Sbmduhog, how much room was there between the stock front tires & springs, or were they 10" wide too? If not, did you get aftermarket wheels or mount them on a stock narrow wheel?
I have them on ITP delta steel wheels. I got them as a packaged deal. I am not sure how they would be with the stock rims. But the only clearance problems I had was the outside rear fender. Where the floor borads meet the rear plastics. I trimed maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch off. The front tires fit perfect. Even at full turn they don't rub.
