Trying to identify this thingamabob 150cc Chinese atv
My brother picked this thing up for free and is looking to get it up & running. It wound up in my garage to fix (as I've had a decent amount of success in getting mine up & trail ready).
He was told it's a 2009 Roketa 150cc. However when I looked at it, the VIN plate shows it as 2005. Here's some pictures of it. Any thoughts as to what it is?
Main reason I'm asking is it needs a new start/kill switch. The one on it was a 5 function (headlight/turn signals/horn/kill switch/start switch). I've found one and ordered it, however it came in and it had the wrong plugs on it
The old switch had 2 female plugs, one 9 pin one 4 pin. The 9 pin only had 8 wires though. This thing really just needs the wiring cleaned up and re-connected.

My Experience
From my experience, trust what the ATV tells you, not what some guy tells you.
If the VIN plate says manufactured in 2005, it's definitely a 2005.
I would safely say it is a 2005 Roketa 150cc.
Unfortunately, in the world of off-brand ATV's, that probably won't help you much.
If you are unable to find parts exact for year, make and model, best luck will be to find a website that gives you detailed pictures of product, and match up connector by pictures.
