Hello all it's been a long time since I posted, glad to see you are all here and helping each other out. I am trying to help my son with a Redcat 200 that he just picked up, it may be a VX200 but am not sure. Not sure how to id this machine as I only have the Vehicle Id # and the Engine # and have had no luck in tracking down documentation/manuals. The is a problem with the electric starter the motor turns and it appears the gear train for up to the starter clutch assembly appear to turn but the engine does not turn over. Was surprised to see the trany/gear oil drain out when the side cover was pulled. Does anyone have any idea where one might find a service/repair manual for this machine or for that matter how to tell exactly what this machine is? From pictures I've found the motor looks like one listed as a Cg200?
