Hi, I got a wiring question
G'day, new here
I've got one of these 50cc 2 seater buggies (atv with a cage) for my kids. It was great for about 5min's until it wasn't. Through all my research this place came up the most so I thought i'd come ask the question here.
What I've got now is a 70cc quad motor and harness strapped to the back of it. I've stripped all the crap out of the 70cc harness (how I found this place) which has left me with 5 wires on the engine side and 4 wires on the control side (original buggy controls)
With the 4 wires connected from the control side; red, green, red/yellow, black/white everything works as it should.
Turn key, push button, motor starts. push kill, motor stops. sweet
The yellow wire that comes from the stator/magneto that originally went to the bar kill switch and is connected to the voltage regulator now terminates where I cut the old plug off. I've got a feeling it's got something to do with the charge circuit but not sure where or what it should be connected to?
Appreciate any advice, cheers
