Default 2005 Baja Wilderness CDI?

Hi I have a 2005 baja wilderness 250 that has no spark this was the last year that I can find before baja swithed to the 4wd model they have now. It uses a Linhai 260cc motor. I am wondering if anyone knows if this is a dc or ac CDI that way I can start trouble shooting it. I cant find anywere what voltage type the stator puts out.

Problem started when I started it up and pulled it in the gerage to change out the air filter and after I was done it would not start no spark. Any help would be nice since I dont have any instruction manuals. Also if you have any parts you cant find I may be able to help since I have replaced alot of parts on this thing.

Thanks

I found this on scrappydogscooters can any one tell me if it is right. I think the last one they mean AC at the end not DC. I dont have two plugs just one with 6 pins so I cant do that test to see if it is ac or dc anyway.

Here is somewhat simplified checklist to determine type:
Headlights turn on with key, DC. Headlights turn on with engine,AC
Engine does not run without batter, DC. Engine runs without battery, AC
CDI box is pretty large, DC. CDI box is smaller, AC (note: our new digital DC units are smaller)
There is one wire on the two part plug, DC. There is two wires on the two part plug, DC.

Thanks.

Well thanks for everyones help. The Linhai motor uses a DC cdi if anyone else is wondering. Got my ATV back up and running with a simple change of the coil. Now to put it all back together after work and go hit some trails again.

the easiest way i found to figure it out is ad - dc cdi's use a slightly different plug. One is rounded more that the other. As long as the site you are buying from has the right pic its easy to spot
