Default kazuma 110

Just wondering? My kids 110 starts hard when it has sat for a couple days in the cold. Is there a way to adjust the choke? Once I finally get it to start I have to flip the choke on and off for about a minute before it will Idle without assistance. When it's warm, no problem what so ever just hit the starter and it fires right up. I've adjusted the carb to where it seems to run best about 1 & 3/4 turns out. Is this just the nature of the beast?

Have you tried to adjust the valves? Valve clearance gets tighter with wear, and the clearance also gets tighter when cold. Thus the first symptom of valves that don't close all the way would be hard starting when cold.

Thanks, That completely slipped my mind. I'll take a look at that. Does anyone know the valve clearance on these engines by chance?

Thanks for the peplys guys. Got the valves adjusted and starts easy in the cold now. I guess when you've been staring at a problem to long you need somone with a fresh mind to point out the obvious solution.
