Thumbs up

I bought the muffler gasket from ecopowerandmotorsports in ebay adn got the studs from chinatownparts (www.sunl.net) sunl sent tracking no. so they are a good place to buy from. Still no word from ebay about the gasket and found a place that works on china quads. $30hr in Apex, NC. I will let you know how it goes. found out that taotao which is really (Aimex), sunl, roketa, kazuma, red kat, terminator, and a few others are made by the same company and are in ALOT of ways teh same bikes with diff. names. Motosportsparts.com seems to have a good selection also. I'll keep digging. and for service centers in your area look at (http:elescooterparts.com/refer.html)

Ok. just found out that the honda shop here in dunn had the exhaust studs or at least some that will work just fine after the machine sop gets finished. the price $1ea. high temp. high strength.

I found another mech. in benson and one in apex, NC. ecoscooterparts in ebay may ship the exhaust gasket soon but no confirmation. I will try honda and polaris shop for 30mm I.D. exhaust gasket. or close to it

Ok got it put back together and it's running like a champ but two probs: 1. when at high rpms it still smokes from the ehaust port although I must admit that I was kind of timid about torquing the exhaust bolts. 2. the carb is leaking from where the air filter housing is connected to the back of the carb. oh! www.sunl.net did in fact send me one of the parts that I ordered I'm still waiting on the other one. write me back with good advice pls. before I put it in the shop for 30 dollars an hour.
