Default Question on Qianjiang (QJ) Commando ATV100 Governor

I am considering buying a QJ Commando ATV 100cc from a person in a town about 50 miles from me. He is not a sophisticated mechanical person and does not know if that model has a speed/throttle governor. I cannot tell from the lo-res pictures whether it does. Also, the Qianjiang English website does not say.

Before I take the trip, does anyone know whether a QJ Commando ATV 100cc has a speed/throttle governor? I would appreciate any input. I am buying it for my soon-to-be 9 year old son's birthday. I am not comfortable with his riding at full speed.

Also, where can I get a manual for this atv?

Thank you very much for your responses.

about all atvs have a stop screw on the throttle.i have worked on 5 or 6 chinese atvs and they have all hade them. unfortunatlly i have not worked on your brand. have this guy to look at the throttle and see if there is a screw or a hole for a screw to keep the throttle from opening all the way up..

I have a Commando QJ 100 2 stroke. Where is a good place for parts? It sounds like the clutch is worn out, screeching.
