i feel like a fool it was not the clutch or the engine, it was the thin metal plate under the engine that broke a weld and made all the nasty sounds.. i'd say so far we have put on well over 100 miles on these two atv's now with out any real problems.. so i'm happy with the 250t's that we got so far...

Awesome!!! Glad to hear the ups for the vbike...I got mine in today and just had enough time after work to put the tires and handlebars on and get it pushed in the garage in case of bad weather...Gonna pick up some loctite, 10w30 oil and NGK spark plugs for it and go to town thur after work and this weekend...pretty excited...hopefully get the first spin this weekend!! I will let ya know how it turns out...

On another note, I have been looking for a place around here that has old scrap angle iron so I can build a home brew stand...the crate this thing came in is just about enough and almost cut to size!! All I gotta do is plan and weld...I was just as excited to see that as I was to see the ATV...hahaha

what color did you get?? whats with the ngk spark plug?? and once you break it in, find out what your's tops out at, mine was 45mph.i'll recheck it as i free'd up the exhaust and removed the restricter cover on the air cleaner box, but it sure does feel faster. good luck with your's.

I got the white one....I like it...other than the fact that the pic I saw had a gold engine and mine sure enough did not but oh well...as long as it runs..lol...Im going with the NGK plug just because I have read on a few threads that the ones that come with the vbike foul out pretty fast....might not change it immediately but def want to have one or two on hand!! It will take a couple weeks to get broken in properly but I will let ya know as soon as I can....Im hoping for the best...it is actually alot bigger than waht I thought it would be...so far seems to be a great deal!!

Unfortunately not running yet...not as a part of the bike or anything...more just to busy and a lil laziness on my part...had to much going on to really get down to it. Went yesterday and bought the loctite and fuel and 10w30, so hopefully soon...I had one concern on the way the front shocks get mounted to the frame..seems like there should be some type of rubber seal on the inside, and I was worried about tightening it down so much to compress the brackets together in worries they may snap...called tim today and he said tighten away as they are and I wont have any problems....did you happen to see this issue with yours as well?? gonna hopefully get it wired up by friday...ready to ride...will have to figure out how to post pics.

One more thing, what fuel do you run? I thought I read on a few posts to only run premium...91 octane. Today tim told me not to because there were some problems with the vsw blowing gaskets on the premium fuel?? He said if I tried it and anything blew he would replace. I bought a few gallons of 91 to put into it, but think I may just dump it in the car and purchase some 87...

Just noticed on another thread (and I'll verify when I get home) but this "250cc" engine on the V4SW is stamped 163ml which as far as I can tell from a bunch of web surfing is a 200cc engine..... Can anyone at all verify that? And do the 250-T bikes have the same 163ML stamped on the engine? Thanks

hi, not trying to bother you but is the bike running yet I know how it is to be busy. I bought a taotao 250 for my daughter for chrismas and own a 6.5 manco scorpion, and a 6.5 yerfdog I have had a blast. Is v bike a good brand the tao I bought is used and needs one little repair and some locktight. I might try to buy another for me or the wife it would be cool to see everyone ride at one time at Busco Beach here in NC
