please check the quick connects in/around your wiring harness/loom. sometimes the blades inside push back and do not make good contact. did you try another NGK spark plug? was it running prior to cleaning your stator area?

Yes it was running before but it's probably been sitting about a year never had spark problems only carb problems so I cleaned the carb before I did anything

yeah, just hold the rubber part and crank. you should be able to ground plug up against the jug/cylinder fin area. i presume the magnet pick up in the stator area didn't have any surface rust on it, did it? the red slider kill switch is ok? did you check the wire connections coming off the back of the keyed ignition? sometimes they work themselves loose and will kill spark.

No rust on the stator just dust and just so you know there's no battery either but it ran before without it. I changed many components on the quad before to get it running before

yikes, running without a battery is not good. the circuit was not complete. even if you have an old battery, that's better than nothing. hopefully the regulator didn't burn up.

Default regulator/battery

What's the regulator look like and how can I test if it's not working. What type/amp battery is needed for this unit. Thanks so much for your help.
