Default Wildfire 110 (q2) stator smoking when attempting to start??

Hello, one and all. I'm new here, but I've seen a lot of discussion regarding these quads, and I recently received one for repair. This one has got me straight stumped.

Here's the deal. Got it as a non runner, the starter was fried. I verified that by disassembly, and it was indeed a goner. The solenoid is also apparently dead, it'll click when the button is pressed, but will not power the(new replacement)starter, so I've tried arcing the solenoid with a screwdriver.
It'll barely crank the starter with a full charge 12v battery.

Strangest of all, smoke could be seen coming from stator housing, and upon removal of the stator, the white wire (ground) was burnt bare in places.

I've got a new stator and solenoid inbound, and am giving serious consideration to replacing the harness. If someone could help diagnose these issues, or tell me where I can get a replacement harness, it'd be much appreciated!

Stranger yet, the throttle cable melts when I attempt to start it!

Yea, as i was arcing the solenoid, I noticed smoke coming from the throttle cable... It's melted internally now; junk. I'm going forward with a new harness.

Anybody? I'm guessing there was a major bad ground causing the cable to melt, but not sure.
Can I purchase a harness from a taotao 110? I know a lot of these quads are very similar, just looking to get it running with its functions intact. Any and all input and knowledge is appreciated
