Default chinese 110cc no power

hi guys kinda new to this never really got into motor bikes as a kid but my son loves them. anyway to the reason im on here.
i have a chinese quad 110cc not sure of the brand i bought it second hand and no brand anywhere, anyway this morning i tried to start it, turned the key no power, no lights nothing. checked the battery its fine looked at the mess of wires it looks like someone has already mucked around with the wires joins everywhere. the quad was running fine yesterday not missing a beat. i have looked at a few wiring diagrams and none match the wires i have. there is 6 coming out of the ignition 2 have been joined together then it goes into a 4 pin plug there is a yellow wire not going anywhere and its live with the key on im guessing this is potentially the problem anybody know where this wire goes to?

we're gonna have to chase voltage to/from the key and battery/solenoid area. how's the inline fuse up near the battery? is it intact? is it no bigger than 7 amps?
