Default 110 brake problem

my sons hand brake lever will pull freely but does nothing, Where should I start. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

is the reservoir full of DOT 4 brake fluid? does the piston actuate up on the handle bar? can you tell if the brake light is illuminating?

brake light does light up, I'll check the fluid and piston thank you for the info, these Chinese quads have been a great learning experience, my yamaha is a gas and go not much repair, these little guys on the other hand need more attention it seems. Thank You again!!!

yes that is true. all of my off brands have taught me how to work on my name brands!
if it is low or empty, just bleed normally like a car/pick up.

Good call on the fluid!! Turns out the bolt that connects one of the brake lines had come loose. A quick tighten and fluid fill now she is good to go!!! Thanks for the help!!!

glad you got it going! good job! enjoy! sometimes we think big problems and turns out it is a little problem. that's a blessing. but eventually, it'll be big and we'll tackle that like the little problems and kick some butt there! anyways, take care and have fun.
