Can you get the vin # off of it? The 10th digit should tell you the year model.

I lifted the seat up and there is a paper that says this vehicle is not subject to phase in EPA emission standard and related requirements for model year 2006 applicable under 40 car 1051

Look on the lower left side of the frame. I'm also going to say it's made in Taiwan, then Can Am puts their plastic and stickers on it.

Well, they have you think it is. Trust me, I have first hand experience with a Can Am that wasn't. Under 250cc, they are made in Taiwan to "Can Am specs".

Take a good look a the motor. They may have changed, but in 2006 you could clearly see the SYM stamp on the motor. That is an atv manufacturer in Taiwan.

The good news is, they do make quality atv's.

Another way to at least narrow down the year, is it a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke?
