Now a 5.0 bike can go out and dominate 90% of everything there.

A 4.5 bike is in a league of his own out there simply because the true drag bikes cannot run in the rough stuff.
That's pretty accurate! I guess that's why I kinda like the place, it allows a well setup slower bike to be halfway competitive with the faster bikes.

Yeah, I noticed your bolt-on bike was killing those two "nitrous" bikes out there.....you know....the 700 Raptor and YFZ who tried to hide their nitrous bottles, LOL!

You have a much better eye for that kinda stuff than me, I never noticed them. What color bikes were they on?

The only reason I know is because they were talking about it and reached down and opened the bottles before we lined them up.

It was the white/silver 700 and the grey yfz.

They were the only ones close to you, the 400EX and the Z on Sunday.

Thanks for the compliments! No, I never saw the bottles, they sure slipped them by me!

Yeah, that Z was fast. Man is Mark's 400EX is fast or what? That thing comes out the hole!

Fast69's bike was also fast as usual. You did pretty good also considering the conditions weren't favorable to your setup.

Sal, I dont mean to start anything with those guys. But after you folks left, I was able to launch the bike and there wasnt another bike there within 4 bikes of the Spider on all motor. I never ran nitrous and fact is, I should have just removed the bottle so there wouldnt be any speculation.

But, thats racing.

Those guys are good dudes, they are just like you, me and everybody that drag races like we do.......they are proud of there stuff! They've seen the Spiderbike run at the Clash, they know it's faster than what you could show at the Dunes. Just like fast69's bike is way faster than what we saw that Sunday. I'm sure running fast bike's like ya'll have is very tough to do out there!

Did you run the wheelie bar after we left? If so, may be you should have tried it without the wheelie bar.

No, I ran it with the bar.

I figured it would have been a hand full with 13-paddles and no bar with only a +4 swingarm.

Im sure they are good guys, but he made a very bold statement saying the Z was the fastest bike there on Sunday. Im not taking away from the Z because it was impressive to say the least. In fact, I thought it was a Raptor 700 at first glance because it was so impressive.

Its all good.

Bye-the-way did you see the paddles they had on that Z........Rippers! You know if it could turn those tires it had some horsepower! He was setup better than most to run there and that's a big part of why it was fast! It's defiantly the fastest Z I've ever raced! Was it the fastest bike there........probably not! "In those conditions with equal riders" I believe fast69's bike was the fastest there.

Sure the Z was fast.....probably 5.0 or 4.9 fast.
