I can't wait to do these stock carb mods. I'm going to tear into it tomorrow. Sweet, free power is always a good thing.

Well, I did the mods. I drilled the extra vaccum ports and put a filter on the carb where the tube went in, and plugged the opening at the filter end of the snorkel. I have no air box at all, put the needle clip in the 3rd groove. That's it so far. Does this sound right or is there something I could do better. I have a 180 mikuni jet right now as well. I haven't ridden it yet so I'll report more when I get a chance to ride it. When I hit the throttle it seems to bog right at first and then revs okay. Does that sound like I'm too rich? OMR if you have any suggestions that would be great. Do you think I need to do that air jet mod. Thanks.
