Look online in the local paper and in the cycle trader. You might find a honda 250x,Yamaha blaster, kawasaki bayou, older yamaha warrior or maybe banshee. It's still early in the new year so people might be looking to unload quads cheap after spending extra money on christmas.

Wish you guys would quit bashing Polaris! They are good machines that need to be maintaned or they will turn to Sh$$ .Back to the post you will have a hard time finding anything in GOOD shape under $1000 but like was said earlier get to the $1500-$2000 range and you can find one that is in grreat shape.Dont over look the Polaris they have good power and do cost less used than the rest.

You guys should really stop bashin on polaris...I have a 1990 350L that I bought on EbaY for 3000(shipping incl.) total and it runs awesome. Sometimes I leave it for weeks without starting it and it starts right up when I finally find the time to go to my cottage. I believe in Polaris, and that's why I'm buying a new 700 sometime soon. You can have my '90 for 2k if you want......LOL

Look for a polaris (poor-o-larris), most of them after just a few years will drop in price. They don't hold their value at all, just look at cycle trader. Oh, I am sorry, you said a good one......then stay away from old unreliable poor-o-larris.
