I don't remember from then what the actual numbers were, but a 250SX and the '83-'85200X will be pretty close, but the 200X should edge it out.

The '86-'87200X will completly destroy the 250SX in top end speed.[and take off]

You really cant compare the two. Especially a 250SX to a 86/87 200x. the SX's were shaft driven, heavy, had electric start and an autoclutch and would do about 55 tops. The 200'x could do about 60-65 stock, 86/87's being totally differant and much much better machiens (I ahve an 87 that will do around 70 with my mods. A 250SX is a workers machine or for someone who'd work and want to playa roudn occassionally, they were very nice ATC's but nothing to a 86/87 X!!

Yes---Huuuge differances, internally and externally. They are 4 valve 199cc's compared to the 2 valve 192cc's in the 83-85 models for one large change. They also have a 6 speed tranmission. Theres a whole bunch of differances but those are two fo the most imnportant I suppose.

wrong, 350.

83-85 200x=2 valve

86/87 200x= 4 valve

I would know, I own one and its common knowledge to begin with.

The 300ex is a 4-valve head, and it only has one headpipe. How 'bout the CRF450 and YZ426, yep that's right, one headpipe.
