Default 1985 Honda Big Red - Gas Tank question??
I am going to clean and reline my gas tank with por 15. Is there any way to remove the screen set inside the tank???

The plastic screen on the petcock? Sure, needle nose pliers. The screen is part of the petcock, but got stuck in the tank w/ gunk. Take the petcock out then dig it out from the petcock hole.

I've had luck with a coarse thread lag bolt at least 5 times / tanks in a row.

Screw it into the screen tube 1/4 turn and they usually come out

I've just used some Isopropyl Alcohol to clean the gunk off the screen.
Oh yeah, they sell Isopropyl alcohol a whole lot cheaper than the commercial stuff.
