Default 79 Honda ATC 110 idle problems

Hi, this is my first post to 3wheelerworld so we'll see how this goes... But I have a 1979 Honda ATC 110 that has been sittin for about two years, so the other day I was tinkering with it and found out it had a rusty gas tank so I got a new one and it works fine, it starts right up in a couple of pulls...now comes the problem, when i start it it idles really high and I don't know why. So if you know what to do let me know
Thanks
will

well the frist thing you need to do is take the carb.off and give it a good cleaning blow it out good with air also make sure the intake pipe is not cracked or leaking around the intake gaskets.be careful with the air screw it has afine point on the end that is really ease to bend or brake off.

On the air intake gasket, it has a paper gasket that is ripped. Could that be the problem?
