1985 Honda 250 to go*kart

Ok i have a go*kart made by dazon that has a shot engine and i dont particuarly want to fix it. i also have a 1985 Honda SX250 ATC that need brakes and tires. i want to get that engine from the honda into the dazon but the honda is shaft driven so can anyone think of a way to either make the honda chain drive or make the dazon shaft drive?

use the SX back axle or mount the SX motor sideways and find a way to put a sprocket on the countershaft.

sell the sx and use the money to get a kart motor no point in wasting a good trike for a kart
