Default 1982 Honda 100 3-Wheeler questions

I just bought a 1982 Honda 100 for my son to cruise around on. Have been fixing it up, replaced some parts, cleaned the carb, installed a in-line fuel filter and some other general maintenance. It has a problem staying idling and sometimes will rev at high rpm's for no reason. I am unfamiliar with these machines and would appreciate any help anyone can give.

Welcome to the forums. As far as the idle, does it idle well on choke, does it idle a while and then die out? Or just not idle at all? Does the idle need to be reset after each start up? And as far as the revving problem when does it happen could be the throttle cable being routed wrong and becoming jammed, or could be an air leak. I know alot of times the cable will get squeezed between the gas tank and frame. And as far as I know Honda didn't make a 100 they did make a 110 however.
