82 200 atc front end swap

I was wondering if the front end off of an 83 185 with solid forks will fit onto my 82 atc big red with shocks. I know I have to do the swap at the goose neck but I want to make sure it will fit. It's mainly just a temp fix until I can locate the correct forks but I found I a 185 stripped frame with a complete front end on it cheap but its the solid forks so I want to make sure it will fit before I buy it.

i swapped the front end of my 200 to my 185 for the shocks and front brakes with out any problems ... if that helps

It shouldfit no problem
I put a 200s front end on my 78-ATC90
Just had to change the steer stops
But in your case should fit
