No, ATC's are more stable. Dirt bikes are still safer. A YZ250 weighs about 175lbs. A Tri-Z weighs about 300. Even if the dirt bike lands on top of you, you still have a decent chance of kicking it off. with 300 pounds of trike, that chance is significantly less.
