Default 1982 honda atc 200e cdi

hi,

i took the cdi cover off my atc 200e and found metal shavings and loose insides so it is totally off timing does anyone know where it should be set?? also does anyone have any parts or like a ignition key switch or engine parts

cdi shavings well to start check your magnito and on the magnito ther is a straight line and on a black lil box above there is a stragint line get it a top dead center where the motor is easyist to crand over and line them up

hi,

i think im going to get a diff motor found a few because mine was seized up and i have almost no experience with these but am taking a class does anybody have any 200e motors and what is the most i should pay for one or should i keep the one i have?? i am going to try what you said joshjines i will let you know what happens
