Default 250sx carb ???

Just pulled the carb off the SX and cleaned it. Now the gas just runs unobstructed out the bottom overflow of the carb. I assume this is a stuck float, however the float seems to be working smoothly, however the choke is stuck in the open position and won't budge. Could it be from the choke? I'm at my wits end, I'm getting tired of pulling the dang thing out and taking it apart all the time. I just want to get this fixed. Any suggestions on what to look for? Is it time to order a rebuild kit, and do it the all up?

Well, this is definitely coming from the overflow outlet tube. I assume it has to be a stuck float. I've never really run into a stuck float before, so I'm not sure how to remedy it.

if i were you i would check the needle valve if it has one which i think it does-the ends mushroom out and allow gas to squeeze by it-very inexpensive and you can def do it yourself-good luck

"drain screw" if the tip is corroded the gas leaks out the drain hole. the screw should have a rounded end at the tip to stop the gas.the screws purpose is to drain the gas out of the carb out the bottom drain hole.it took me a long time to find the problem on my carb it was doing the same thing.
