Default Noisy 2013 500 core

I have a 2013 500 CORE that has a noisy engine when its cold. The sound seems to be coming more from the transmission area on the right side. Another thing the transmission cover gets so hot I can't touch it.

My 2013 Core is also noisy. I am the second owner; only had 200 miles on it when I got it and I've put about 100 on it since then. Makes a rattly sound in the engine/trans at certain speeds/RPM's. Cannot put my finger on it yet. Thoought about taking it to a dealer for a look see but have not researched it yet. Would appreciate anyone's thoughts..... jb

I figured out the noise in my atv, I replaced parts 9, 12 and 13. It looks like they didn't lube it where the dampener slides on movable face. These were binding up and all the dampeners were broke on mine. When I put all the new parts back in I put on some brake high temp brake caliper grease where the dampeners slide on the movable face. I use this on a farm so it gets driven nearly every day.

Is this an easily accessible thing a guy can fix himself or does it need to go to the dealer? I have never worked on 4-wheelers but am fairly mechanical and can fix most car and truck stuff....
