2012 arctic cat 90
Hi everyone. I'm new here and can really use some help. I just bought a 2012 arctic cat 90 for my son about 1 week ago. The quad runs fine with one exception, if you hit the throttle to fast it will stall. I think the air screw needs to be adjusted, but it is capped off. Can the cap be removed without damaging the carb? If so how to do it. Has anyone has had this problem and fixed it? Also, tomorrow I am calling the dealer for insight and will share what I find as soon as I can. Thanks.

Perhaps your giving too much gas too fast?
I was racing a buddy that was new to carbed atv's ('06 Honda Recon 250) and he was hitting the throttle so fast it would stall. I had never done that while riding. I hope its something minor if anything. Does it have good power and how do you like it?

Arctic cat 90 stalls
There is defiantly something wrong with the carb. I have heard a lot of people of this same problem. I feel it is either the automatic choke or air screw adjustment or even a jetting problem. I would like to start with the air screw but it is plug off. The quad is new and I don't want to do anything to void the warranty. I would like to know what the dealers procedures are to adjust it. I called the dealer today and they want me to drop it off so they can play with it only to return it with the same problem. They claim they never heard of this and don't know what could be the problem. I should mention that I am a certified Honda technician and have basic the basic knowledge to repair this problem. As soon as I figure it out, I will share what the fix was. If anyone should find a fix please let me know. As far as the quad goes, I am unimpressed with it. I reminds me of a cheap Chinese quad. I bought it because I heard good things, but now I am having second thoughts. Thanks for replying and trying to help. All help is greatly appreciated.
